  • Diagnosis of the case is a must! Yogatherapy should never be advised merely based on symptoms, without diagnosing the case. e. g. joint pain.
  • It is mandatory to have a counseling session, after through study of the case.
  • Yogatherapy programme should be discussed with the patient regarding pattern & duration.
  • Patient should be made aware of his / her total involvement, understanding, awareness in day to day life & occupation for effectiveness of Yogatherapy.
  • Therapy should be directed towards identifying the cause, minimizing it and correcting its effects.
  • The Yogatherapy starts at gross i.e. body level and may end at subtle level i.e. energy / mind / intellect level, depending upon the need.
